FAQ

Everything parents and carers usually ask us, in one place. Can’t find your answer? Email [email protected] or use the chat bubble in the corner — we read every message.

What are the Lina Stories?

They’re illustrated storybooks for readers aged 8–12, following Lina — a curious, funny 11-year-old — through the challenges every child meets: putting things off, big worries, anger that feels like a volcano, tricky moments online, and more. Each story is a warm, exciting adventure first, with a gentle life lesson tucked inside.

What age are the books for?

They’re written for children aged 8–12. Younger children often enjoy them too as read-alouds with a parent or carer.

What formats do you offer?

Every story comes in two editions: a digital edition you download and read straight away on any tablet, computer, or phone, and a printed edition that’s made to order and delivered to your door.

How does the digital download work?

As soon as your order is complete, your download links appear on the order confirmation page — and we email them to you as well. If a link ever stops working, just reply to any KidsBooks email and we’ll sort it out.

Where do you ship printed books?

Printed books currently ship to the United Kingdom and Ireland. Digital editions are available everywhere in the world, instantly.

How long does a printed book take to arrive?

Each printed book is made to order especially for your reader, then posted to you. You’ll receive email updates from us along the way.

Can I get a discount?

Two easy ways: join our newsletter and we’ll send you a welcome treat for your first digital story, or pick The Smart Reader Bundle — any 3 digital Lina stories for the price of 2.

What if something isn’t right with my order?

Email [email protected] and we’ll make it right — whether that’s a fresh download link, help with an order, or anything else.

Is KidsBooks safe for children?

The stories are for children — the shop is for grown-ups. Purchases, accounts, and newsletter sign-ups are intended to be made by parents and carers, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. You can read more in our Privacy Policy.
